Accept BLIK payments with Checky Pro
Six digits from the banking app your customer already has open. No card, no redirect, no account to create — and it now carries most of Polish e-commerce.
New here? Checky Pro is the payments & checkout platform for modern e-commerce — BLIK is one of the 21 payment methods you can switch on today.
What is BLIK?
BLIK works backwards compared with almost every other payment method. Instead of sending the customer somewhere to authenticate, it sends a code the other way: the shopper opens their own banking app, taps for a BLIK code, and types those six digits into your checkout. The payment is then approved back in the app. Nothing is redirected and no card number exists anywhere in the flow.
It was built by the Polish banks together in 2015 and has since become the thing Polish e-commerce runs on — well over half of it, on more than twelve million active users in a country of thirty-eight million. Crucially, it is not a separate app anyone had to download: BLIK lives inside the banking apps people already use, which is why adoption moved as fast as it did.
The six digits are short-lived by design — around thirty minutes — because they are effectively a one-time password for a single payment. For you that means a customer who abandons halfway leaves nothing dangling, and a payment that does complete was authorised inside the bank’s own app rather than by a card number that could have been typed by anyone.

Why BLIK, and why through Checky Pro
The top row is the method itself; the bottom row is what our platform adds on top of it.
Most of Polish e-commerce
Twelve million active users and the majority of Polish online payments. In Poland this is not an alternative method — it is the main one.
No redirect at all
The customer never leaves your checkout page. They fetch a code in their banking app and type it in — that is the whole handover.
A code that expires
Each code is good for one payment and about thirty minutes. Approval happens inside the bank’s app, so there is no card number to steal.
Costs you can trace
The 2,95% and the 2% conversion are itemised per transaction — you see what each złoty payment became in your own currency.
One balance, two currencies
Polish payments land in the same balance and payout schedule as your euro ones. One reconciliation, not two.
Offer it next to cards
BLIK covers the Polish shoppers who pay from their banking app; cards and wallets cover the rest. Both are switches in the same dashboard.
How a BLIK payment works
From click to balance — what your customer sees, and what happens behind it.
- 1
Opens their banking app
The customer taps for a BLIK code — it lives inside the banking app they already use, not a separate one.
- 2
Types the six digits
The code goes straight into your checkout. No redirect, and the code expires in about thirty minutes.
- 3
Confirms in the app
The bank app shows your store and the amount, and the customer approves with their PIN or fingerprint.
- 4
Confirmed in seconds
Your store hears back immediately and the order can go to fulfilment.
- 5
Settled to your balance
Converted from PLN and added to your Checky Pro balance, paid out in 3–7 business days.

What does a BLIK payment cost?
For a company in the EU: 2,95% plus € 0,25 per transaction, and 2% currency conversion because Polish customers pay in złoty. There is no authorization fee. Rates and conversion differ per region — switch the region above the pricing table on this page to see yours.
Do my customers need to install anything?
No — that is why BLIK grew so fast. It is built into the banking apps Polish customers already have, so there is no separate app and no registration.
What happens if the code expires?
Nothing is charged. A code is valid for one payment and about thirty minutes; if the customer takes longer they simply fetch a new one.
Can a BLIK payment be charged back?
Yes, BLIK has a dispute procedure. In practice it is rare, because the payment is approved inside the customer’s own banking app rather than with a card number.
Can I use BLIK for subscriptions?
Yes. A first BLIK payment can be saved so later charges go through without a new code, which is how one-click and recurring work in Poland.
